Choosing colors is the part of a paint job most people worry about, and the hardest part to undo. As part of our residential work, we help you choose colors that suit your home, its light and its setting before any paint goes on the walls.

Inside the Home

The same color looks different from room to room as the light changes, so we look at colors where they’ll actually be used. We help with how colors flow from one room to the next, trim and ceiling colors, and the right sheen for each space: flatter finishes on ceilings, more washable ones on walls and trim in busy rooms.

Outside the Home

An exterior palette has to work with what’s already there: the roof, stone, brick and stained wood, and the trees, mountains or water around the house. We help choose body, trim and accent colors that fit the setting, and work within your neighborhood’s approved colors if it has them.
