Now Hiring: Experienced Painters

Ridings Paint Contracting is looking for the best painters in the NC foothills. Not someone to fill a slot, but skilled, self-driven painters who take pride in getting it right the first time and want to build a career with a company that respects the craft.

We’re a family-owned, third-generation painting contractor based in Morganton, serving homeowners, custom home builders and commercial clients since 2003. Our name goes on every job we finish, and we’re building a crew that’s proud to put theirs there too.

A Career, Not Just Another Job

• Full-time, year-round work. Steady residential, new construction and commercial projects, so you’re not left waiting on the next call.
• Home every night. Our jobs are in and around Morganton. No travel crews and no weeks on the road.
• Room to grow. As the company grows, painters who lead by example get the chance to step up.
• Training on the job. We invest in our painters and teach the way we work.
• A team that respects the craft. You’ll work alongside painters who care about careful prep, clean lines and a job done right.

Who We’re Looking For

We hire for character as much as skill. The painters who do well here are:

• Self-starters. You show up ready, see what the day needs and get it done without being told twice.
• Right the first time. You’d rather spend the extra minute on prep than come back for a callback.
• Dependable. When you say you’ll be there at 8, you’re there at 8.
• Professional. You treat every home and business like your own and represent the company well in front of clients.
• Proud of your work. At the end of the day you step back and like what you see.

What You’ll Do

• Interior and exterior prep and painting on residential, new construction and commercial projects
• Spray, brush and roll clean, consistent finishes
• Mask, sand, patch and caulk properly before the finish goes on
• Keep job sites clean, organized and safe
• Represent Ridings Paint Contracting professionally with homeowners, builders and business owners

What You Bring

• 3 or more years of verifiable, hands-on experience in residential and new construction painting
• 3 or more years with airless paint sprayers and thorough paint prep
• A track record of working well on a team
• A valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
• The ability to lift 50 lbs and work from ladders and lifts
• The ability to commute to Morganton, NC 28655

Schedule

Full-time, 40 hours a week: Monday through Friday, 8-hour shifts. Weekend work is available if you want the extra hours.

Our Standard on Every Job

If you’re a homeowner, builder or business owner reading this, here’s what it means for you: the painters on a Ridings job are experienced professionals held to one standard. Every painter we hire has a verifiable track record, and every one of them is expected to prep carefully, protect your property, keep a clean site and finish the job right the first time.

That’s how we’ve built our name since 2003. Get a free estimate and see the difference a crew like ours makes.
